Farewell to OACHE Board Member

Dr. Paul BibbinsThe OACHE bids farewell and best wishes to one of its board members. Dr. Paul E. Bibbins, Jr., who represented Ohio University on the OACHE Board of Directors, left his post as dean of Ohio University’s Eastern Campus in St. Clairsville effective Dec. 31, to accept a position as president of a private nonprofit educational foundation in Virginia.

Dr. Richard Greenlee, OU’s associate provost for Appalachian access and enrichment programs, is serving as interim dean of OU–Eastern Campus. Dr. Bibbins served as dean of OU–Eastern Campus from 2004–2007. Prior to assuming that role, he was dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and a professor of biology at Kentucky State University, where he also served as interim president.

“The OACHE would like to thank Dr. Bibbins for his service as a member of our Board of Directors,” said Dr. Brenda Haas, OACHE executive director. “His leadership was vital to the success of our recent 14th Annual Conference, which was co-hosted by Belmont Technical College and OU–Eastern Campus. We wish him the best in this new chapter of his career.”
