Teaching Ambassador Fellowship

Applications for the U.S. Department of Education’s 2011-2012 Teaching Ambassador Fellowship are now available online.
 

The Teaching Ambassador Fellowship was designed to enable outstanding teachers to bring their classroom expertise to the Department and expand their knowledge of the national dialogue about education.

The application deadline is January 17, 2011.

Federal Appropriation RFP

Request for Proposal Released December 8, 2010 Proposals due January 17, 2011

Grant funding is available for implementation of innovative and collaborative student support, remediation, and/or college access projects for middle/high schools or ESC’s in the following counties:  Adams, Athens, Gallia, Jackson, Lawrence, Meigs, Pike, Scioto and Vinton. The funding is available from a federal appropriation grant to prepare students for educational opportunities and careers in science, technology, math and engineering.
