The OACHE administers an Educational Opportunity Center to help first-generation, low-income adults enter or re-enter college. Funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education’s TRIO program, the EOC is a comprehensive counseling and referral program providing FREE academic, vocational, career and financial aid information to eligible adults (age 19 and above) in the 29-county Appalachian Ohio area.
